Understanding business landscape
Development of the new hotel is a multiparty operation that takes several years (2-5 typically) of the development, and significant risk and cost associated

Who is involved and what are their pain points
On the decision making side
Developer and Operator
On service providing side
Architectural designer, Interior Designer, Contractor
Understanding pain points:
Developer is the team that secures funding, shepherds project thru development, (design, permitting, construction) coordinates with operator on operational and brand standard and carries all the financial risk until project is ready to be operated.
Operator is the team that insures that the new project will conform to the bran standards, and will be manageable to operate, i.e. has good balance of amenities that are needed but are not profit making and services that generate profit. Ensures that design is desirable by the type of users expected and that there is a need in local business landscape for a product that is being shaped.
Design team and the contractor are service providers contracted to channel Developer’s and Operator’s vision into creative, durable, cost effective and solidly, timely constructed real world environment.
BACK TO UX PORTFOLIO

All the users will address VR app to asses their fears, and to evaluate their team accomplishments.
It is safe to assume that ALL users are Novice with low technological literacy.
Matrix of users
Like technology/VR, VR process is high stake on their overall performance

UX design for project presentation:
Structure of the project:
Clients will be introduced to VR presentation in phases, to allow them to have a learning curve spread over time and getting accustomed to the VR environment in small bites. Domesticating the tool will allow them to get used to.
VR cannot be described it Has to be Experienced……..
Phases (one introduced every week):

- white model
- white model + lighting
- generic colors + lighting
- full finishes + lighting
UI elements introduced:
- teleportation
- click and move switch
- click and move objects (chair)
- animated objects introduced (TV)
Strategy:
With complex desires from the project Design of the VR has to convey space as close to designed and introduce it slowly so that designer and stakeholders can comment and their comments can be assimilated before more elements are introduced.
